The really young kids do not get any hormones or puberty blockers. That stuff doesn't start until they are around 10 usually. However, IMO 3 yr. olds lack the emotional maturity to truly make such a major decision. It should not be "Well Jack says he is a girl, so now he is Jackie". Look at this:

So we have this story:

Woman Sues Hotel in Bid to Find Man She Had Anonymous Sex With

So this woman bangs a stranger for several days straight, has unprotected sex with him without ever getting any information from him outside of his first name lol.

Shockingly she gets pregnant and comes back asking the hotel to give her the name of the guy, they say no...and she takes them to court and loses lol.

As one of the comments points out, this person is not trying to find this man so that her child can get to know their father. She is not trying to find out who this person is so she can inquire about past medical history(might be important to know this stuff). It's just about getting some cash.

I feel bad for the kid, his shady irresponsible mother's behavior screwed him over.
