That is how sad the situation on some college campuses is. For those who do not want to watch the video: this one college every year had a thing where all the colored students did not show up. It was an event they did, the reason was some silly nonsense, but it was stuff they did willingly.
Then they decided this year it should be the whites that do it, and not voluntarily. A teacher speaks out against that racist idea and gets whined at by special snowflakes.
Also something kinda funny: some places are doing "female only" screenings of Wonder Woman. Now I don't give a shit if they want to do this, but I'm just amused at the reaction these women had by some people who did have a problem, which is essentially just to laugh and say it's not like there aren't other theaters they can go to.
I find it kinda funny myself, but I also know that if the next Thor movie came out and a theater held a "males only" screening...feminists would be whining about misogyny. Even if there were other theaters to go to, I know this would be called misogyny.
So let us get back to the logic of "well there are other theaters to go to". That is a fair point. My question is why this logic is not usable in other instances. For instance, if a business doesn't want to bake a cake for a gay couple it's wrong and we force them to do so...even if there are plenty of other bakeries around that will sell to gays.
The only excuse I can even imagine people using to try to say it is different is that the theater is not permanently doing female only screenings...it's only for a few nights. But then would liberals be okay with places of business deciding to have weekends where they sell to heterosexuals only? I dunno.
Like I said I don't give a shit about Wonder Woman, but it truly does seem like more of this "it's okay when we do it, but not when others do it" type behavior.
