Berkeley tried to undo the cancellation of Ann Coulters speech and schedule it for May, she rejected the offer, which I'm glad.
If this hadn't been cancelled..in a way, less would see it. Since the only way they were going to allow her to speak is to do it in the middle of the day and that only students could attend and they wouldn't even tell her exactly WHERE she would be talking until like the day before the event was supposed to be held.
So the school seems to be trying to actively prevent people from attending. Stipulating it has to be done in the middle of the day means a lot of students will be in class at that time. Then making it so only students can attend decreases the number of people who can come even further. It's almost like they tried to appease some by letting her come, but at the same time tried to make it so she'd just give up and not come, which means they have no actual clue who Ann is then if they thought that would work.
Okay this really pisses me off:
This vegan couple adopted a frickin czechoslovakian wolfdog and put it on a vegan diet. It got sick and kept losing weight and having health problems, it was only when the place they got it from wanted to take it away they finally began feeding the dog meat and it grew healthy again. But then the wife of the guy says maybe in the future they might put the dog back on the vegan diet.
Think about the sheer insanity of putting a dog that is *half wolf* on a vegan diet. They need some meat in their diet.
