Really hard to pick just three. Want to put in Farewell to Space Battleship Yamato or Trigun, but the three picks are mostly based off sheer enjoyment and not overall quality..

Looking back now, there are so many better animes you could invest your time in, and while I don't dislike DBZ, I do like it quite a bit, maybe due to nostalgia, but it's definitely not in the top 10 best animes.

There are ones with better action, better storylines, hell, even better filler arcs. (Although Pikkon is pretty kick-ass)

Those 2 are my clear favorites, rounding out the top 3 is a toss-up. HxH would probably be my 3rd but its gone on hiatus so many times and for so long its just...ugh. Monster was a great old anime. Just started My Hero Academia, have heard nothing but good things about it.

Not sure. I really wish Toriko's anime didn't suck, though.

To be fair, he's probably never watched it. But yeah, Ufotable's Fate adaptations have some of the best action sequences out there.
