Can anyone take a picture of the page in the Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia that says this?

Beyond the vision of the Jedi Knights, somewhere within the darkness, the greatest master of evil ever to use Sith power bides his time. As his strength grows, his plans begin to shape the course of the galaxy, and his snares await the unsuspecting.

I want to know which incarnation of Darth Sidious it's referring to.

Obviously, post TPM

It's in the prologue to the AOTC section.

It's not from TCSWE, and it's referring to AotC Sidious.

Anyone got a quote saying only the most powerful Sith can use Force lightning?

Given that even mere Force Adepts can fire Force Lighting, even if there's such a quote, it's clearly been retconned.

Sorry for the delay. I didn't even realize this thread was a thing until just now.

Anyway, here's the actual excerpt:

-The Complete Visual Dictionary - pg.72

*As mentioned, it is in reference to AotC-era Palpatine.

Is this real?

Star Wars Insider, Kevin J. Anderson, upon asked if he ever intended his Sith to be stronger than the OT sith: "No. Exar Kun, Naga Sadow and the others are on a firmly lower tier than Emperor Palpatine."

From which Insider?

Doubt it's real. Avellone once said something similar, though.

I don't think so.

Every time I have seen that quote used online, the poster(s) only cite "Insider" as the source. I've not come across a single instance where a specific issue of Insider was listed as *the* reference for said quote... Which is pretty convenient given that there are upwards of 180 issues of Insider.

I've even seen it sourced as "an insider source," which is even worse.

The quote seems to be the same as the infamous Qui-Gon = Mace Windu quote --

-- Written on Wookieepedia in the early days and spread and spread.

anyone have the source or quote stating that Exar kun is the most powerful of all sith lords?

There are a few, but here's one:

Whoever has the answer can give it to me, but I'd like to direct this question specifically towards Galan.

So, I would like a list of all the new canon material, barring the short stories. I already have a list, but I want to expand it to include all things and update it to today. Good list. 👆

-Han Solo 001-005 (2016)
-Rogue One Adaption (2017)
-The Force Awakens Adaption (2016)
-The Last Jedi Adaption (2018)
-Star Wars: Droids Unplugged 001 (2017)
-Star Wars Special: C-3PO (2016)

There's also the "Star Wars Adventures/Forces of Destiny" series by IDW. Pretty cheesy, but it's supposed to be canon.

Thanks man!

Though I still think there are probably more...
Thanks for including the show as well, I forgot to in my list. Although I don't really care much for them.

No worries. I'm pretty sure that covers all canon material aside from Guidebooks and whatnot.

I wasn't talking about the show(though that is canon, too.) I was talking about the comic book series by IDW:

As mentioned, it's cheesy(geared toward children)... But it's canon nonetheless.
