If Republican's simply ceased to exist, who would the poor go after? Who gentrified their neighborhoods and pushed them out? Who put quota's on school selectivity, keeping many Asian's out?

Sometimes I wonder if the bible belting racist conservative is kept in power/in the public eye by design, to distract the masses from who's REALLY oppressing them in their own back yard..
