Thats how i feel about Underworld. 😆

Unfortunately i had to see it, as my spouse is a fan. ❌
Fortunately she's also a RE fan, so i get to crush on Alice with no worries! ✅

I hate the movies with Milla, Except for the 1st movie it was somewhat like the games

but i'd rather watch the CG animated movies.

Is it just me or is the 2017 movie lineup the best it's been in years

Errr.... it's sequels, reboots, remakes... all rehash of stuff we've seen before. How can that be the best movie line up? It's more a demonstration of lack of imagination and vision, and a strong sense of greed in milking the cow...

This line up is only about money. Not about great movies.

I'm sure that there will be other movies yet to be announced, Ones that'll try and get nominated for next years awards season.

Those are the movies i usually dont enjoy.

Riv is a sequels lover.

Yeah, but don't be a total negative Nancy. At least some of the sequels are to really good stuff like Guardians of the Galaxy, War for the Planet of the Apes, John Wick, Alien, etc.. it's an exciting year. Yeah, I couldn't give less of a shit about Power Rangers or Transformers, etc.. but that's the case with every year.

True.

War of the Planet of the Apes: definitely a wanna-see. So is Guardians (although I dread a movie that's lost the magic of the original).

Alien Convenant... well, to be honest... I dunno. Big Alien fan here, big Ridely Scott fan too... but from what I saw so far is much of the same: people get off spaceship, explore another spaceship, find eggs, eggs hatch, face hugger comes out, people running through hallways, people getting locked out because of infection... and then I guess aliens show up. Oh, and there is a droid.

Hollywood is running out of ideas, people.

And you hate everything, if we're stating the obvious.

15 Original Movies Coming Out in 2017

I'm looking forward to Valerian and A Cure For Wellness the most, but some others sound interesting, like Life and I'm also interested in just about anything del Toro does.

I'm interested in how many of those queeq will hate. 😆

Dunkirk maybe, if Nolan don't lay too much of his style of butter on it. Valerian(?) looks way to Euro to be really good imo.

will be seeing the bulk of these

Life and Song to Song look like the most promising, Valerian is another obvious pick for me as well

Why do you say I hate everything? Just because I don't swallow everything the studio's feed me.

Some of the original movies look good. I wonder what Abrams will do with Dark Tower... I feel like he's kinda lost his magic a bit since ST:ID.

Valerian, I dunno... looks to me a little like Jupiter Ascending: a CGI fest... and we have to wait and see if there's any substance to it.

A Cure for Wellness looks very interesting... but it also has all the ingredients for a generic horror film. We just have to wait and see.

There are quite a few this year that look promising, and that's from a cynical old git. Hopefully they won't suck.

Actually, I do look forward to Spider-Man Homecoming.

That whole slate of originals looks great, though I'm really, really not pleased that the one trailer for Life showed exactly who falls victim to the organism first. Who makes these trailers? 😠

Also looks like Besson is finally in form for the first time since Fifth Element. I really might have to skip all the sequels in favor of all the original releases. Well, most of the sequels/reboots anyway.

Valerian isn't really "Original" as its based on someone else's work.
