Genuinely wondering how, though.

Logan has shown an inability to pierce Blob in the past. Cyclops did pierce him. You can call it inconsistent if you want, but they're basically the same kind of attack.

First: we have no actual evidence that Wolverine's claws connected. He just bounced off.

Blob himself, under Claremont, has been scared shitless of Wolverine's claws. And another occasion, he's been outright hurt by them when Logan stabbed him in the butt.

Was there not another instance of Blob blocking Wolverine? I admit I could be remembering wrong, but for some reason I was sure there was another one.

Don't see it. Blobs durability is different. Its been overcome by having his fat stretched ...by being pierced at certain angles. It's not traditional durability

After the avx fiasco, he hurt dorammamu with a full optic blast.

We have the 'split a small planet in two' against juggernaut ( might be hyperbole) and the trillion volt blast as magneto put it.

Thor has taken both Havok and Cyclops full blast at same time without any physical damage. I imagine high herald should be just fine

I'm pretty sure Cage survived a nuke in AoU later dying from radiation poisoning. As dumb is that is, Cage should remain on Scott's lawn then
