I was meh about The Last Stand. A lot of bad parts, but a lot of cool parts action wise. Magneto moving the golden gate bridge is just an awesome part. Then after he's done when you see the one woman in the car who is afraid of him..lock her doors, as if that will protect her from a guy who just ripped the golden gate bridge and aimed it at Alcatraz island.

Ha, that is a pretty nice touch..
I mostly remember X-Men 3 just being awful but then again I'm not really much of an X-Men fan. Beast was kind of funny. I watched the trailer again and it actually made it look half decent.
Man, I really wanna watch Judge Dredd again now... 😂

When I saw BvsS I expected to see the super hero version of "The Room" with how badly people said it was and...it was..eh. It wasn't spectacular, but this goes to show how hype can kill a movie.Reminds me of the video game "Fable". All these new features and stuff you were supposed to have were so hyped that when the game came out without them..that is all people saw. Whereas just looking at the game based on it's own merits..it wasn't that awful.

I'm glad that you had a better time with the movie, but for me, BvS was painful to watch. The internet LOVES to exaggerate the negative qualities of a given movie, but in BvS's case, I think that the revulsion to it was warranted. I thought Man of Steel was bad enough, what with its soulless depiction of Superman and how it completely missed the point of his mythos, but Dawn of Justice just took everything wrong with that movie and amped it up to eleven. It's fun to watch now from a Mystery Science Theater 3000/so bad it's good perspective, because honestly, it takes talent to create something that off the mark, but as a straight adaptation of DC characters? It's an abomination.
Some solid points being discussed here.
What I voted for and the reasons why:
- Spawn: Leech and I have discussed some positive aspects of this film vs a myriad of things that make it a bad movie, but it's one that I'll watch anytime it's on TV. This brings me to my 2nd choice...
- Batman & Robin: Schumaker has stated what he was going for in terms of all the flamboyancy and camp, it just so happened to miss the mark big-time. I'm a defender of the one good thing this movie has: possibly still the best subplot between Bruce and Alfred with the MacGregor's Syndrome arc. Belonged in a much better Batman movie. I really would like to see what Batman: Triumphant would've been like with Schumaker returning to direct, but we know how history turned out.
- The Phantom: I thought it was a great flick as a kid growing up in the 90's, and really that's what it is: a great flick for a kid growing up in the 90's. Don't believe it's aged well. I will give massive props to Billy Zane for legitimately getting so jacked that the filmmakers decided he didn't need any muscle padding in his costume. Also, this is the greatest promotional material for any movie ever:

Money in the bank again, Leech!
I watched Howard the Duck. After falling asleep twice I finally finished it. It's not totally crap, but mostly crap. It would have been a lot funnier if Howard (the duck) used his duck voice more often, like when he was mad because all the puns were not funny. And my God, I didn't know Tim Robbins was in it. He was awful! I'm surprised it didn't ruin his career.
This guy is a great character actor. He was awesome...
For those people who don't want to have to sit through the entire movie of Howard the Duck:
Warning: You will see ducktits less than 2 minutes into that video.
The best line in the movie is spoken by Lea Thompson's character: "This planets called Earth..I think".

Film is just terrible have it my laptop still cant watch it for a 2nd time.
You think it's the best of the worst Comic Book movies? Hm..
But seriously, it's not a part of this thread. It's not an option. It's just a turd and doesn't need anymore attention. It just needs to be forgotten and faded into obscurity.
How about a Batman movie WORTHY of attention... with Batnipples, except not on the person you want them to be on... 😂
There's a hint of a nipple there, but not really...
