What's next for Swtor?

Valkorian isn't dead. He's simply weakened biding his time within the recesses of the Outlander's mind.

I think that's certainly a possibility but I was also under the impression that TOR was making Bioware bank these days. I'm not they'd want to get rid of a profitable resource until it actually starts getting unsustainable.

Yeh, but that's kind of what I mean. Long term survival of an MMO involves dedicated teams for PVP, a focus on raiding etc. At the moment their plan appears to be pumping out easy to make content that requires grind upon grind, which produces cash through the cartel market but won't last long.

It'd build up hype for a new Star Wars MMO as well, if SWTOR was successful but lacking in a couple areas that the new game planned to excel in.

Hopefully something they've never done before, like a good story.

I actually thought KOTET looked amazing when we weren't sure if the Immortal Emperor was even force sensitive, and before we found out he was Vitiate. They came so close to an innovative story that defied their previous works. The Eternal Empire felt like a Hapes Consortium type deal, but in the end all we got was the usual power creep which at this point leaves political intrigue and alliances irrelevant, while the Godlander solos armies.

I genuinely believe they can't make a good story with the player character in the position they're in, so I'd put good money on:

How many sides of the Force will he be beyond this time?

They've done practically everything at this point.

We've done the standard Sith Empire vs Galactic Republic war.

We've fought ancient threats return to space, like Soa.

We've experienced the return of Revan two times over.

We've had Sith civil wars with Darth Malgus and the Dread Masters.

We've fought the Hutt Cartel and powerful pirate clans.

We've experienced a third-party coming from unknown space.

We've killed off Vitiate himself, the antagonist of the SWTOR saga.

I'd say the only thing left to do to finish the game is resetting it.

Topple the Eternal Alliance and bring back the Jedi vs Sith wars.

Tbh speaking of, I felt that whole Force aspect went completely nowhere.

Yeah. I guess it was just to reinforce the idea that the old Jedi vs Sith clash had become irrelevant.

It'd be cool to see Jadus come back as a threat to everyone rather than just being an Imperial Agent antagonist. They could flesh out his character and his powers and abilities more too.

I wonder if we have Vaylin in our heads now instead of Valkorion.

Please god no.

Pull a KOTOR, the Outlander loses his memories and has to regain his power to beat whoever the villain is. Or, jump forwards in time, maybe to Bane's era and start from scratch. One idea I had that I think is interesting though is introducing Darth Andeddu, since we don't actually know when Andeddu lived, set him between the events of KOTET and Bane's rise; I mean why not? There's a couple thousand years to work with.

Wasn't Aneddu the first User of the title "Darth"?

Plot twist. The HoT was knocked the **** out on Tython while fighting the raiders and everything was a dream✅

My server first boss kill was a dream too then? 🙁

The first that we know of, not necessarily the first ever.

Yeah, but he would predate Malak, Revan and co. then, and can't live after KOTET.

And why not? Andeddu was famous for having discovered the secret for eternal life. Bane learned essence transfer from Andeddu's holocron. Why is it impossible to have him appear in SWTOR when Vitiate likewise was immortal? And it would add more depth to Andeddu's character, something I'm not at all opposed to.

Andeddu was owned by Wyyrlok. The Outlander would clown him cold, lol.

Was Andeddu at full strength though? Was he as powerful as he had been in the past? If not then we could see him at his strongest in SWTOR.

Bane said that aside from the ritual of essence transfer the rest of the holocron in Andeddu's holocron was very similar to that of the Korriban Academy in POD, so...
