That's not unexpected.

There's some new trend at the moment adapting old tv show to movies and filling it up with crass humor.

I dont mind the crass humor (Baywatch), i mind these movies not being entertaining (CHiPs).

Looks stupid.

P.S.And as I find Priyanka Chopra physically unappealing, even more negative.😛

I tried to watch this last night. Only made it about 35 minutes in and despite some nice bodies the characters have absolutely no chemistry whatsoever. They are generic cardboard cutouts. There was a lame dance club song montage for every sequence and after a quarter of the film it felt like absolutely nothing had happened (except of course a chubby kid getting his junk stuck in a wood bench because he was turned on by the hot lifeguard -- hilarious, right?). It was turned into a really bad bro-comedy apparently. I didn't even get to David Hasselhoff or Pam Anderson.

So anyway, I couldn't take it. Had to turn it off. This appears to be a total waste of time. It just strokes the egos of Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. To be fair I don't remember how actually good the original show was, but I remember being somewhat entertained by it as a kid. And this was just not even close to being entertaining.
