Jaina Solo Fel vs Jedi Exar Kun

*Peak Jaina*
*Peak Jedi Kun*

-Neutral battlefield
-In character
-Standard equipment

Force, sabers, all-out.

Who wins and why?

What has Jedi Exar done besides beating Vodo?
Anyway, I prolly will go with Jaina in 'sabers regardless.
Besting Lah-who is superior to Shai, who is superior to someone who is "as skilld with his Amphistaff as Kyp was with his Lightsaber"- while massievly hindered, nearly 2-decades pre-prime is a damn impressive feat.

Jaina probably.

Besting a certified beast like Vodo is a mad impressive, though.

Shai, who is superior to someone who is "as skilled with his Amphistaff as Kyp was with his Lightsaber"

It makes me sad that a bonafide random, is an equal with Durron as far as weapon mastery goes.

A good feat for a random, tbh.

Jedi Exar Kun has broken through a multi-feet thick wall of beskar(Caedus needed shatterpoint to break through a sheet of beskar armor), slaughtered roughly thirty Tuk'ata(CW Anakin and Obi-Wan struggled to kill one), and is obviously an equal for Jedi Ulic.

Kun, marginally.

Nah, just embarrassing for Kyp.
lmao.

I mean, perhaps.

Just sayin', a legit nigh unparalleled swordsman, shouldn't be at equal with a footing with a ground soldier of absolutely no note. Granted, he won, but that just tells me his technical skill isn't all that impressive.

Eh...not sure if that guy was a high ranked Vong. He is definietly below Shai and Lah, tho.
I mean, there is imo barely a difference to scrubs like Ivan Workan, who have one appereance and can give someone a good fight.
I also suppose it's mainly technical skill.

Honestly, it just aligns with the commonly held belief that Kyp isn't a great warrior.

Depends if he held back against DJ Jaina, imo.

How impressive is DJ Jaina in general?

She stalemated Jacen for hours, despite going all-out since they thought they were fighting Darth Vader.

Granted, Jacen was holding the edge, but it was extremely close(though it was a few years pre DJ).

Yes, but, Kyp was dueling on par with Jaina. :/ Neither one could beat the other.

Jacen's best showings at that moment was what, besting Yuuzhan Vong Warriors? Solid, but hardly anything overly spectacular.

He was considered among the absolute best that Luke ever trained, which includes powerhouses like Kam Solusar, who could stomp one of Palpatine's most elite warriors and press Luke as of Dark Empire.

So, most likely, slightly below B-team?

...

[Semi related to the conversation at hand]---> No matter how we want to slice it, Kyp just really isn't that great a duelist.

I don't see Kit Fisto slaughtering one of Palpatine's absolute greatest servants, when even his fodder royal guard can replicate stomping MagnaGuards.

He's clearly meant to be, though. You're just lowballing NJO, 'cause TOR must rise and Caedus must fall and blah blah blah blah.
