It's actually completely possible that in terms of overall history..more whites were enslaved. I'm talking about history of the entire world, not just the USA.
It's possible, but I have no way of knowing for sure. I just want to make it clear there is, by no means, a specific race that wins the slavery card. Every race has had members of it become enslaved.
There also were black slave owners lol. Not a massive amount, but some and the real f*cked up part? Some black slaves would get their freedom and..buy black slaves for themselves. To which, unless they immediately freed those slaves, there is no "oh they only did it to provide these slaves with conditions much less harsh than those a white master would provide" to excuse it.
