Plagueis beats Kun. Tyranus beats Malgus. Maul falls to Vader. Then Vader dies.

Maul would get ragdolled or killed by sorcery before the battle even began. A guy who loses to Padawans multiple times can't fight with Sith of this caliber

Why would Vader go after Maul instead of Dooku considering their history?

Malgus vs Maul makes much more sense as well. In which case Malgus ragdolls him.

Uh, yes he does? He's far stronger in the Force. Maul isn't as powerful as any of the Act III protags who Malgus was tossing around and choking. Malgus was comparable to Maul before his immense boost in power at the end of Deceived and after it he shits on Maul in Force strength.

Malgus doesn't Choke anyone. Game mechanics aren't canon unless they're story elements, which the Choking isn't. And the "tossing" was catching them off-guard.

Kind of curious why Malgus would go for Dooku. Wouldn't he per his mindset go for someone who is dueling centered ala Maul?

Team 2 due to Plagueis. Even with assumption, that Dooku would loose to either Vader or Kun, he's not far behind them. He will put a great fight against either, and is Malgus' superior.

Plagueis will kill his enemy, whoever it will be. Then, he will support his team and if Maul will be still alive, ot will be a stomp. But until all fiighters will be alive, it will be a great battle.
