Uhm, did you read the series? If so, did it appear that Hulk needed any armor to be the last man standing in that battle?

Yes, the implication was that Hulk definitely needed the psi-armor to beat his opponent(which was a Thanosi) in that story:

For a point of comparison, Hulk was nothing to that same Thanosi before he was given the armor -- he was utterly tooled with a casual hand-blast:

This is because the psi-armor(created by Nate Grey) massively amped the strength/durability of its wearer. We first saw this when Nate himself used it:

He really was. I said it eons ago, but if the two stood there exchanging blows and the Hulk won, I would have been satisfied. The fact that Pak wrote him like a retard and had him just standing there asking for more while being punched and egging him on during the battle was unacceptable. A low showing for Bob.

after DSS showing lifting exitar (or holding whatever) and hulk not being able to there is a real question on whose stronger... i would pick sentry in the fight personally if he doesnt just sit and fight hand ot hand ... hulk is vulnurable to a few of sentry's highest showings like molecule manipulation and his psychic abilities so ill try sentry
