Is Wonder Woman's speed an overhyped myth??

I think the Speedforce feat comes off the most impressive.

I always liked that one comic scene were Wondie and Flash are running along and Diana is telling him that she has the speed of Hermes and the Flash while running along side her backwards just gives her a "thats nice" smile.

Weren't the deities Post-Crisis halved in power? It was split between the Greek and Roman incarnations of each other meaning half Hermes power was cut in creation of Mercury?

Wonder Woman's speed is comparable to Super Girls. It's legit, and best to be kept that way. With or without Carvers claims, I am not sure if this topic is warrent, since it could lure some shit posting.

I can only speak to post crisis WW and yep her super speed is legit and sure as hell no myth. She's near lightspeed. Not as fast as Superman, but still can move and react at significant fractions of light.
