I guess that's fair. How about extraneous descriptions of things that DID occur in the movie?

I don't see why not, the novel is just telling us what is happening off screen if a scene cuts away. (If that's what you were asking.)

Well, the released statement was quite vague, but I assume it means that the films themselves are canon, and where other sources mirror them, they're also canon - otherwise, no.

It's easier if you just take the films - and the films only - as canon.

The feat you're referring to doesn't align with the films in any way, regardless.

4. Vader crushing the AT-AT

The Inquisitors raising a 100m temple and Maul/Ahsoka dominating them should be added to the list.

To name a few that haven't been brought up yet - Ventress choking Obi-Wan and Anakin, Dooku dominating Vos and Ventress and Maul hurling Obi-Wan down the cave.

Maul ragging Obi-Wan

It certainly isn't *the* best, but RotJ-era Luke TK-ragdolling multiple Stormtroopers in 'Shattered Empire' was pretty cool as well. 👆
