Julian Assange has said, on more than one occasion, that Russia was not his source for the emails. At the same time, he has acknowledged that he thinks Russian hackers were responsible for other hacks that were leaked to and published by other websites.

But he has been quite clear that the emails he put onto wikileaks did not come from Russia. So what do you make of that?

I think given his connection to wikileaks it would raise a lot of eyebrows if Trump tried to help him. I think it is more than likely nothing will be done. He's going to have to pick his battles carefully if he wants to get anything done while in office.
