Liefeld cinematic universe coming

So it seems Rob Liefeld and Akiva Goldsman are teaming up to create the "Extreme Cinematic Universe".

I get that Liefield drawings were average or shit at best, Never know this could turn out good.

The only time i've ever like Liefeld (as opposed to bring indifferent or not liking) was on the Hawk & Dove mini series from back in 1988, inked by Karl Kesel.

I loved that series. I picked up a few issues second-hand at a flea market and for a long time they were two of my favourite heroes. One issue (#5) especially stood out for me: Hawk gets attacked by a guy who explodes when he gets hit, so he starts taunting Hawk, saying there's nothing he can do to him. So what does Hawk do?

That issue had art by Wozniack, though, not Liefeld.

As for an Extreme Cinematic Universe - why not? It's not as if Liefeld will be drawing the movies/episodes, so what's the problem?

I loved that issue (the whole series really)!
It was also the first time we see Hawk's suit ripped, with tufts of fur sticking out. Caused a lot of conjecture!

The mini that launched that ongoing was Liefeld art, but he didnt commit to the ongoing.

And you're right, i just knee jerk said pass cuz its him. But it'll be worth a look.

Liefeld can be good when he is kept on a leash and away from the actual pencils.

Maybe its just me...but i think Liefield has gotten better since the early 90's with his art.
