Did Palpatine know...

about the Vong? If so, what are the sources and or quotes it's stated/inferred in?

It's implied he had forseen them coming, and that was one of the reasons he had the Death Star built, or something to that effect, IIRC. mmm

That's what I heard, but I wasn't sure of the source. One of my buddies told me it was in Outbound Flight, but I'm not sure if that's the only source or not.

Also this is gonna bug the hell out of me now and I have work soon. There was a Sourcebook quote that does say Palpatine foresaw them coming and why he built up the Empire the way he did....but I can't remember it. <<
