Good lord. Trump called out CNN as being fake; the news agency the reporter works for and represents, why he wanted a chance to defend CNN and by extension himself. Why is this so hard for you?
I'm confused as to why this man felt he'd never have the chance to defend himself? Did CNN go out of business?

What I'm simply saying is acting as if CNN was owed a rebuttal right then and there is silly. So no, you don't get to repeatedly try to interrupt someone at a press conference because they said something about your news organization.

Anything to defend Trump's poor actions.
While you defend CNN's poor actions? I don't care if they felt slighted, you are not guaranteed any right to a rebuttal at a press conference, and to continually try to interrupt after another person has been called on is hardly professional, but you justify it with essentially "Trump started it".
I am not disagreeing with you that a person would obviously want to defend their network. But to say that not allowing a reporter at a press conference to ask a question(regardless of circumstances) is akin to media censorship is strange to me.

And CNN has peddled fake or misleading news in the past.
That's not debatable lol. Go look up the shit they pulled during the Milwaukee riots, just to give one example.

And he has outright lied as well. For ****s sake the excuses I hear are nauseating. You're a moron. You're dangerously stupid.

Who said Trump has never lied?
Also whenever you insult the intelligence of someone it is priceless.
But anyways, CNN is a bullshit news organization. Don't peddle fake or misleading news and..you won't be branded fake news. Simple, no?
Originally posted by SurturJust because you say something without facts to back it up doesn't lead anyone to give credibility to what you claim. You're an idiot. It isn't hard to make you look terrible. You're the forums whipping boy.

I guess I just have to ask you directly then: do you believe CNN has ever peddled fake or misleading news?
I already even listed you a specific incident: the milwaukee riots. They specifically cut away from the victims sister telling people to go burn stuff in the suburbs in order to make it look like she was merely calling for peace.
Do you feel an honest news organization would do that? I find it priceless the network who behaves that way cries over being labeled fake news.
Originally posted by SurturI am sure all the networks have covered bad news. I do not believe it is their intent to do so. If you feel otherwise then prove it. You're feelings do not matter here you buffoon.

You didn't provide a link.

How is it not the intent lol. They SPECIFICALLY cut away from the clip before it got to the part about going to the suburbs.
That is not accidentally reporting something, but being purposely misleading.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/aug/16/cnn-edits-out-milwaukee-victims-sister-sherelle-sm/
Of course then CNN tried to cover their ass and updated showing the full remarks, but the point remains the same: does an honest organization do that? Nope.
But let me guess, you're going to come in(while insulting my intelligence) and spew some dumb bullshit as to why what they did was either okay or somehow not their fault or not bad.
Originally posted by SurturThat isn't fake news. You claimed this was fake news. Are you really trying to say cnn is dishonest while on the other hand backing Trump. Double standards.

Portraying her as merely calling for peace is FAKE. She wasn't calling for peace, she was calling for the violence to be moved elsewhere.
Though I said fake or misleading news, you remember that, correct?
They did this on purpose, and so I ask again: does an honest organization do that?
Originally posted by SurturThat again isn't fake. Fake news would be creating fake stories. Fake news are those ridiculous papers I believe called the Star. Cnn isn't about fake news.

Lmao, I said fake or misleading news. Do you feel what they did wasn't misleading?
If you want to get technical, the idea she was calling for peace was fake, she was not lol. Call it fake, call it misleading, dance around it however you want. She was calling for the violence to be taken to the suburbs. That is not, in any way, a call for peace.
You STILL have not answered how an honest news organization does this?
You realize they didn't just get half the clip, they had the full clip and knowingly tried to act like she was calling for peace. Tell me again how they aren't purposely misleading their readers?
Surtur,
This is an example of a news agency pushing a fake story:

Unlike you, I can provide proof of claims. Fake Breitbart story: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/jan/07/german-police-quash-breitbart-story-of-mob-setting-fire-to-dortmund-church
That story wasn't an error or misunderstanding on Breitbart's behalf. It was a fabrication, a story meant to make people like you froth at the mouth due to your Islamophobia.

But the story wasn't some error or misunderstanding on CNN's behalf either with what they did. It was meant to make people think she was calling for peace, she was not.
