Which loss upset Sidious More?

1.) The "death" of Darth Maul in TPM?
2.) The death of Count Dooku in ROTS?
3.) Anakin becoming a cyborg that was a mere shell of his former self?
4.) The destruction of the first Death Star?

Definitely not 2, since that was planned. Death Star can be rebuilt and was. Anakin > Maul, so 3.

Man...I still cannot help myself from getting annoyed, that they let Tagge survive the DS destruction...only to kill him anyway.

Tagge ain't that great lol, being killed by Vader made him a much better character than he ever was before.

Yeah, Tagge was basically just a plot-device used to help flesh-out Vader's fall from Palpatine's graces... And his eventual climb back to the #1 spot.

Well yeah, cause he wasn't really given any chance to. I dunno, I just find it kind of cheap. It seemed he was just there, felt like it didn't really matter who it was tbh. I was kinda curious if they were gonna do something great with him, cause he was the only one that survived that had been a high ranking officer on the DS, but guess not.

He was displeased when he saw Vader on the lava shore, lol. He was happy at the end of RotS because he knew that Vader was his forever from that point on.

Not in the actual film. He says that Vader “is still alive” in relief and even seems to have a rare moment of affection when he touches Vader’s head.

Now, yes, I am aware there is some bull shit kids novelization where he is pissed and contemplated leaving Anakin to die, but that’s completely contradicted by what we see in the film.

He's angry in the main novel as well. And of course he wants Vader to live, but he's not happy about the fact that Vader's ****ing maimed and never going to reach his potential.

I never said as much. As for the novel, where is it implied Sidious is angry?

Rather it says this when Sidious first sees armored Vader:
