Ant-Man vs the Atom

- Both can use whatever gear they've been shown to have at this point.
- Ray's jobber aura is turned off for this fight.
- Fight takes place at the airport from CA:CW.
- Opponents start 20 feet apart.

Who wins?

If people think Scott is too much for Ray, Steel can step in to help.

Atom should win due to his suit. They both can shrink and grow but Atom has flight and firepower and shit.

Well, so did Yellowjacket, and he still struggled to take on Scott. Though, on the flip side, he was kind of an insane idiot.

Also, by gear that they have, I meant things that they can carry around as standard. So, the one-off where Ray jury rigged that other thing from the ship's power to grow to fight that giant robot doesn't exactly count (seeing as he has never done it since, or even hinted that he could do so in the middle of a fight). So, for Scott, it's basically his suit + it's shrink/grow ability, as well as his shrink/grow discs. For Ray, it would be his shrinking, shrink-ray, energy blasts and flight (plus the strength/durability boost his suit gives him).

Oh, and also the ant-control thing, for Scott... for whatever that is worth.

Haven't kept up with Legends, can Atom grow in size to match Giantman?

That's what Vault was pointing out. He grew once on a spur of the moment idea, with a lot of outside tech to build it. So shrinking and flying are pretty much it for him.

imo, scott should take this

I was kind of wondering what would happen if Ray hit Giant-Man with his shrink-ray. Would one counter the other one? Though, admittedly, Giant-Man is way bigger than anything Ray has ever tried to shrink.
