It wasn't a huge success nobody is saying that but it was definitely a hit with fans and critics and the studio itself plus it made some money back in the process.

“Huge” Critical success. By yeah box office wise it made money, but nothing spectacular.

I found this movie much more enjoyable than the last two solo marvel movies, which I think were ant man and the wasp and captain marvel? But yeah, way better.

The film had been praised by critics and audiences.

Camera was talking about brain dead people like you.

You continues to prove what a butthurt joke you are.

False, I think it sucked. He never argues against an opinion you moron. The movie failed to make anything save the lowest total. Just as Star Trek beyond which was way worse than any Abrams trek made less it does not matter.

Money>Critics. Ask the lion king you doofus.

😂

It was far from a dud at the box office, As that video juggernaut74 posted proves that if folks are too lazy to look it up themselves.
Lowest total of the dceu. If you want low budget less than Ant man box office appeal then bring on the sequel. Leave your expectations at the door. Sales are down but hey I saw some kid smiling it was totally worth it. Great idiot way of thinking.

😂

I watched this. I actually admit to enjoying it, though the CGI was bad at times with the sin demon monsters.

But I enjoyed the fact that that it didn't take itself very seriously. This is the tone that Aquaman needed at times. It needed a little levity for such a silly f#cking movie.

AM was head and shoulders above this gutter trash of a film. Looked like a tv film at times.

Nah You just get insecure over DC Speedsters 😂

Just finished watching the Half in the Bag episode and they nail it...

Honestly, this is one of the better comic book movies. Plays a little like an indie drama/comedy.

Ant Man and the Wasp?

I liked it a lot more than the first one. The first one was barely memorable.

Nah, speedsters get wrecked by steps in the dceu. QS died bro. Speed is only one factor not the end all be all. By your rational flash crushes doomsday. Hideous debating.

Aquaman was a mess. Visually impressive and still largely entertaining, but a mess.

It was not perfect but Shazam was boring, predictable, and visually pitiful.

Yeah, whatever happened in the first one?

I can sympathize with that, too, because I partly agree. But the characters were charming enough and the humor was amusing enough to make it mostly work. The script was unexpectedly clever.

It was "ok" in the same way Spy Kids was, or Sky High, Ant Boy and Lava Girl, etc.
It had the same Nick teen adventure/Super Hero vibe as those movies.
Not my cup of tea, but I can see how some might like it.

I felt Zach Levi was great, and so were the kids. That pretty much made the movie, IMO.

Exactly. I hate films like this and people acting like this was great stuff I simply hate them.

Yeah its the first well done Super Family (besides Incredibles of course). Its what Fantastic Four should have been.
