Best Father/Son movies

Whether its Warrior, Creed, or Lion King, what are some of the best films you watched where an Older male lead passes on Wisdom to a Younger character? Is this a film you watch with your child, or a movie your father took you to see in the past?

Superman

Concurred.

Road to Perdition comes to mind. One of Hanks' best performances, and the Sullivan father and son are a great contrast to the Rooney father and son.

Star Wars, obvs

Last Of The Mohicans.

The subtle bond between Chingachgook & Nathaniel Hawkeye.

UP.

Braveheart.

A Bronx Tale. Coincidentally, my own dad's favorite movie.

Thor, I like how the dad waited an untold thousands of years to take his kids toy away and then decided he hadnt learned his lesson until he was dead to give it back.
Man of Steel moment with the stepdad was a really good one to. So much wisdom was imparted during the tornado scene..

Freddy Got Fingered.

The Road
