Mace could damn-well solo. Being canonically the second greatest Jedi in history before the rise of Anakin, a rival of Dooku, a tier ahead of Sora Bulq/Asajj Ventress/General Grievous, and mastering/perfecting every combat art of the Order at it's Golden Age, whilst also creating a brand new technique, is actually superior to anything Muur has to offer as a swordsman.
Given scaling from other Jedi, his general rivalry with Tyranus, and own impressive feats, I doubt Karness could really affect him with either TK or lightning. His best option would be Drain, though I don't think that's enough to pull him a majority.
