Superman against a guy who was immune to all physical harm. without killing him:

Jason is the version of FS specified in this thread(the guy in your first scan isn't Jason, btw) -- and Jason can survive in zero-oxygen/vacuum environments just fine:

👆 I've put Galan on block so am sure whatever he just posted was chock full of lies.

Superman 8/10.

Or just beats him down.

Unless Firestorm has become immune to physical attacks.

Forum fight, probably FS considering that he is very likely to target Superman’s weaknesses

Comic fight? Superman

Good thread Carver. Firestorm wins. Strange that firestorm is "said " to win against Sentry yet some claim superman beats firestorm??? Good thread Carver. Should teach people something.

Which Firestorm was it who survived in the sun, and created an absolute zero cage there? (That didn't melt, because absolute zero?)

Indeed he can:

And even IF Superman were to blitz at the onset, Jason has the feats to suggest he can weather his punches long enough to become intangible OR manifest k-nite, at least.

I'm not sure whether it's cannon to the current version of the character, but Firestorm also used transmutation to redirect the Omega Beams after they were fired at pretty close range. If he's still that fast, I see him being able to whip up something against Supes before he can cross the battlefield to blitz

can fs think intangible before supes blitzes....?

fs can absolutely beat him IF he gets the chance to do so. thought vs speed anyone...?

another question: how good a multi-tasker is jason? could he remain intangible and turn supes to salt? supes could maybe deal with the intangible bit, but it would take a tiny bit of time. in that time, he'd be raising someone's blood pressure and contributing to someone's heart disease, no?

After 12 years, you really should know the difference between those two biscuits

If he can react to the OE, he can react to Supermans speed.

They chased Flash through time and space.

Firestorm speedblitzes.

Superman wins.

Firestorm can't handle Superman at this level.

Damn right. With ease too.

Firestorm threw fisticuffs with the amped Kalibak who casually ragdolled Orion. So even IF Superman blitzed at the onset, I'm confident that Jason could withstand the beating... For a little while, at least.

As for your second question: I'm not sure. Jason has used intangibility in conjunction with other abilities in rapid succession, but I don't know of any specific instances where he's had to use his powers while already intangible... /shrug

Batman has reacted to the Omega Effect after it's been fired, among many others.

The beams aren't always top speed, obviously.

Superman on average would lose. Firestorm can conjure Kryptonite, and use his body to emit red solar radiation. Just getting close to him would weaken Superman at that point. FS could take Superman's attacks long enough for him to run out of juice from the KP and RSR.

Sure, some versions of Superman would still pull wins, like SBP(due to his immunity to artificial RSR, and Kryptonite), but the average Superman would get every last one of his weaknesses exploited by FS.
