Batman vs Cyclops

Cyclops really should win, tbh.

Batman GOMLs him.

Bruce is doomed in an arena fight.

Same way he would be if you placed Castle or Deadshot and a gun at the other end.

Guys good at aim dodging, but he's not Daredevil or Iron Fist good. Works at night for a reason. He needs to exploit his environment, have some shadows/cover to exploit, and do his ninja stealth thing.

And you can't bullet time a goml anyways.

Cyclops should win at least the first fight.

Power wise, he is a one trick pony, but his eye beams will get the job done I guess.

Oh, and he's far from stupid, one of the best leaders in Marvel.

Everything Cyclops has done since then, from forming X-Force, to developing bioweapons, hosting the Phoenix, even Colossus becoming Juggernaut, was all intended to ready the X-Men to fight for their own survival once shit hit the fan. Not that it all worked out, mind you, but I think it would explain a lot, and would help explain the frankly stupid behaviour of some of the X-Men.

Cyclops would win this every single time. Wide sweeping optic blast to pin Batman down, into a focused blast to make him hate life even more.

Batman dodges his beam and clobbers him. Not only is Batman much higher on the foodchain, but hs been dodging light constructs and hand and eye beams for too long to believe Clops would just consistently blast him down.

Batman can and absolutely will dodge Cyclop's standard beam. But he can ricochet it and if they're in a void, just take off that visor and open his eyes.
