Don't know the exact causes, but on one other site/service we had each other added on in which we occasionally messaged one another as well as facebook in the case of some of his other friends, his irl friend Pete got on his accounts to let us know that he (Joe his name was) had passed away. It was like in the middle of a night a few months ago. Pete gave me and everyone he messaged about the news his phone number in case we wanted to call and ask about the details of his passing, but I was too sad to want to do that and just basically said thank you for letting us all know.
Not long before when he was still alive, he had messaged me asking how I thought about Mortal Kombat movie reboot, and we agreed it was a disappointment outside of a few or couple things. Awhile before that though, when we had talked a little bit in live voice chat, he wasn't doing the best. His mom had passed away from some kind of sickness, and he was struggling while taking some therapy. Told him I wished him the best and everything while we caught up at the time, and figured he would bounce back like he had from such things before, but alas...
I knew him enough at least to know that he got drunk a good bit here and there, so guessing he either died from eventual substance abuse, or maybe covid got him or something. Regardless, he was still a great kind person, and he will be missed.

Ah, that's shit. He seemed like a cool dude, we'd talk mostly about movies. I think he stopped posting on KMC 2017-2018.

From what I hear though it wont be as good as GOTG. And might not be for everyone with the over the top violence (which is intentional of course).
