Chris McKay, who most recently directed the Lego Batman Movie for Warner Bros., is in negotiations to helm the new film, and Bill Dubuque (The Accountant) is writing the script.

Physically he fits the bill. Lean and muscular.

Personally, I would look for somebody like Daniel Wu from Into the Badlands. Obviously he won't be selected, since he is 42 which will put him outside the age frame. But he has the qualities I would look for in a Nightwing: Trained in martial arts from the age of 11, effortlessly athletic, charming and debonair when he wants to be, yet brutally effective in a fight. Grew up in California and now based in Hong Kong, so he is just as comfortable in the West as in the East.

I don't really watch Teen Wolf, but I'll be interested to see how he does in American Assassin, which should be quite action-packed

The first one I just missed the 15 minutes cut-off time when I went to my desktop and saw how big the pics were.

The second one was because the flippin gif didn't work and I couldn't delete the post. I ended up having to jump through a few hoops to finally get it to work. Annoying as hell!

I always thought all of Batmans sidekicks were rather boring characters.

I did like the Red Hood movie, and enjoyed the various Robins we had in the Young Justice cartoon, so who knows.
