if its standard weapons and abilities

azog comes out on top, bolg is likely to be dead from either being crushed or beaten down with the trolls chain and that troll is mutilated to death

Fact is Azog had serious trouble with Thorin, the Cave Troll would not only have a longer reach but also the power advantage. It would alot easier to fight two opponents then nine.

The cave troll didn't beat Gimli either. Thorin was greater than Gimli. Me was the greatest dwarf warrior we have ever seen. Are you saying the cave troll was alone because he clearly wasn't.

The cave troll was easy to maneuver around and Azog has greater strength than anyone in their party as well as being quick enough to avoid his attacks.

You act like Azog was quick he wasn't in fact he and the other one were brutes who mainly used brute strength just like the cave troll. If Thorin was better then Gimli it wasn't by much.

He is quicker in relation to the cave troll. We are comparing the two so by direct comparison Azog is quicker. Thorin would beat Gimli. Both Azog and Thorin were the greatest of their kind.
