The trolling as I've said in other threads is just at this point sad. I really don't understand how those of you who rail about the ignorance and childishness of people in other threads display yours so bluntly instead of having an informed conversation. I still hold out hope that maybe you'll start acting like you're not in high school and speak to others like functioning members of society. Feel free not to disappoint sometime.
This sucks. Likely looking to travel to Europe again this year, and possibly looking for some tech positions there in the future as well. Needing a visa doesn't make travel impossible by any means, it just adds a bunch of hoops, cost, and tedium for virtually no reason. Travelers from the states can now be denied for things that would have never been an issue before. Ridiculous that the U.S. imposes restrictions unnecessarily and causes its own citizens headaches. Going to suck the big one for people I know who go there semi-regularly for work and will now have to get approved for visas.
Keeping in mind that this is a non-binding resolution and there are some major trade partners of the U.S. that may side with the states regardless, but that it has gotten to this point shows how bad the current climate is.
