Help me predict the major inventions of the future?

Think of one invention_for every year that will be the biggest, from now (2017) to 2050. I know this is a long, and possibly difficult task, but I'm trying to think of innovative new technology ideas. Are you up to the challenge?

I think more and more jobs will become automated but idk what specifically

Maybe finger print recognition for stuff will come in so it's more secure

Self driving cars already happening, not sure how successful they'll be

Just read a Judge Dredd comic. That is our Future...well maybe not the Cursed Earth bit but they are pretty close I am willing to bet.

I can name potentially the last invention of the human race: an incredibly intelligent AI.

A mix of Skynet and the Matrix, so the best inventions would be to make humans more efficient batteries.
