Could Apocalypse's barriers withstand Shadow King's disintegration attack thing?
I still wonder whose power that was though. Was it Shadow King's, or was he simply using Legion's power as his own? It's very vague right now. But guess that point is moot for this thread. I don't know if Apocalypse's shields would block it. It wasn't like a beam or anything, like the attacks he blocked. They didn't really seem to work against Phoenix's onslaught. However, he could probably survive more than one though, given his regenerative abilities.
It's not my problem you clicked on the thread idiot, I don't make these for idiots like you who are too slow to watch new content. Possessed Legion/Shadow King/whatever you want to call him was pretty damn scary. It's hard to say who would take it in the Astral Plain, but I am kind of leaning towards Apocalypse. He was still schooling Xavier on the Astral Plain, despite them being in "Xavier's house".
👆
Not to mention that Apoc was beating Xavier in the Astral Plane while simutaneously fighting (and winning against) the Xmen + Magneto...
Apoc didnt become overwhelmed until Jean unleashed the full Phoenix Force on him...

While that is true, it's still not quite that simple. I'd still lean towards Apocalypse, but I am by no means certain of it. We don't really know how Legion Xavier stacks up to main timeline Xavier. He might be more powerful, or he might be less powerful. Plus, Shadow King didn't have David's power supplementing his own when he fought that version of Professor X. And David's powers have been described as "God-like", and in the promo for the season finale, they label him a "world breaker".
And he has displayed such a big variety of abilities at this point (especially while the more experienced Shadow King was in the driver seat) that he is a borderline reality warper. Everything from telekinesis, to telepathy, teleportation, matter manipulation, clairvoyance, removing all sound from the real world, and it was somewhat implied that he froze time when everyone was in the astral plain. He also has insane reactions/perceptions, and is one of the few non-speedsters that could potentially beat a legit speedster, considering he is fast enough to casually catch five machine gun bullets, fired at virtually point blank range, while his back was turned. Legion is a monster, and easily one of the most powerful mutants we have seen onscreen, in terms of Fox characters.
Like I said, I currently back Apocalypse, but I am mostly guessing to be honest.
After the season finale I'm pretty sure the only way En Sabah can win is if he destroys him on the Astral plane ending his consciousness.
Spoiler:, so he could just do that and obviously En Sabah has access to the astral plane and would be able to engage him there.
Farouk was able to hop from mutant to mutant
I'd favor him there seeing as Oliver was at the last able to hold him out via his Ice construct, and En Sabah destroyed Xavier who was a more powerful telepath than David

Shadow King alone is powerful too, but i think that until now he also used David's power.

We don't even know if he can destroy him on the astral plain. It seemed like his consciousness could only be isolated. Also, does he actually have the ability to engage a telepath on the astral plain of his own accord, without being drawn in? Xavier specifically drew his mind into that battle, IIRC. He still said that he doesn't have the same kind of telepathic abilities Xavier had, which is the whole reason he wanted to take his body and gain his powers.
Also, Oliver had been living exclusively inside the astral plain for decades. So, he had much more XP with that kind of thing. And, quite frankly, while he might not be the most powerful telepath we have seen, he has shown more skill in manipulating the astral plain than Xavier has. He was even skilled enough to allow Cary to interact with the real world from the astral plain, when he placed that device on David's head. Something Xavier has yet to do. And in the end,
Spoiler:
the Shadow King was able to infest Oliver's mind in anyways, after David knocked his consciousness out of Kerry.
Also, Xavier might be more skilled but, even with the extremely limited time to get control of his abilities, David has shown a massive amount of potential, so hard to say who has more raw power. Even without any real training, David was capable of manipulating the astral plain, hearing his sister's thoughts over huge distances, astral projecting himself and Syd there etc. His power is so great that it could even construct an avatar for the rational part of his mind, to help him figure out what was going on. And, during the mid-credit scene of the finale, he
Spoiler:
was able to telepathically detect where Oliver/Shadow King was heading, without the aid of any kind of device, such as Cerebro.
