I think we need to consider that grevious was "toying" with Ashoka in season 5. Him flipping and slamming her body head first into the ground is a clear indication that he wasn't actually trying to hurt her or break her skull.

Grevious most certainly "let" Ahsoka disorientate him and push him back.

it's been noted he can dent walls of star ships with his fist so it only makes sense of him to toy with her since she wasn't killed upon impact

Ahsoka's force augmented durability is way more impressive then you give it credit for, especially considering she did this a decade plus pre prime as a padawan.
