Venom has a decent chance of topping TASM2. Imagine that if it tops an actual Spider-Man film.

^ Films don't last that long in China so I wouldn't count on that. But Even 700mill is ridiculous.

Well considering last week this was at 547 and it bumped to 673 under 7 days Id say it can definitely reach around 770-800 by the end.

As its only been out for 38 days and on avarage they air movie for 120-130 days.

^ That bump is because it came out in China this weekend and performed exceptionally well there. Earned 110million, thats way more than it did in its U.S. opening weekend.

But its not making much in the rest of the world now, so its earnings from now on all depend on its legs in China. So 800mill possible if it can make another 100mill plus there, but I wouldnt count that as a guarantee yet.

Did it? Okay thats good. But even with a 50% drop each week, that 40mill will be like 20mill next week and then like 10mill the week after.

Will find out where it lands over the next 2 weeks.

Either way this is above and beyond what Sony ever dreamed of for this.

800mill is defo possible but thats the the top end of what it will be doing. And they agree its pretty much done everywhere else, but could still push out an additional 40mill from the rest of the world.

It damn its Chinese debut was the 2nd best for a superhero film ever. It absolutely killed it there. No one was expecting anything close to that.

Expectations were 100mill total from China on the positive side 😂
