Saitama is, of course, better than Hulk at jumping. But then again, he's better than anyone at anything involving physical stats.

I have the Handbook somewhere around, if I find it I'll post. I know Handbook entries are frown upon but this referenced and actual event (just like Doc Samson's but you said no Gammites 🙁 ).

Both of them leaped HUNDREDS of feet in both length and height. I actually think Doc Samson beat Hercules by a few dozen feet (both directions).

Saitama would slaughter Hulk or any Herald tbh. He should not be allowed.

Young Thor. Dude was able to keep up with Avenger Thor and Old King Thor by propelling himself from broken asteroids/planets. That whole battle spanned more than planetary distances. He even reached that star system's sun without a Mjolnir.

He needs air to breathe and the upper echelon of heralds can exploit that or when things get rough breathable air simply won't be there for him to continue fighting. THis page alone of this thread shows both him needing air as well as someone able to smash celestial bodies during a fight

Since Saitama's abilities are pretty much infinitely enhanced he could probably also hold his breath indefinitely. Tatsumaki dropped him to the core of the Earth where he stayed for a long time, but still didn't show any symptoms of oxygen deprivation when he got back up. Anyways, this thread was about jumping, not fighting.

Give an example of a character you are talking about in this statement that could take advantage.

Cognitive dissonance is a feeling of discomfort from going against your established personal image. Where are you noticing cognitive dissonance? In that he's arguing against the hulk?

I assume there is some sort of conflict withing him if he's saying things so contrary to what he promotes endlessly in the forums, but maybe the ability to flip flop so drastically is without conscious thought
