Terminator: Dark Fate

Going to watch this as I still like the franchise and Tim Miller is directing, but honestly, they should have really moved beyond Arnie and now Linda Hamilton.

Is this what movies are doing now? Ignoring the shitty sequels?

Yeah?

They got Edward Furlong back as John Connor too.

Im actually stoked for this.

Wayyyy more hopeful than I was for Genyshit.

Halloween is, pretty sure another franchise has to

And it worked out for Halloween too, with how well the 2018 film did and how promising the next two coming seem.

I like the Halloween franchise, and I’m glad they ignored the sequels and got Jamie Lee Curtis back. Killing her off in resurrection was a full retard move.

Neil Blomkamp had plans to do that with the Alien movies, Ignoring 3rd film onwards

there's also Robocop too which he's been working on the script for.

facepalm

Looks like Jams Cameron has been lying to the fans

there's plenty of interviews with him criticizing how Aliens 3 was handled, He's allowed the exact same thing happened with this new Terminator movie.

It’s looking like another case of critics vs. fans/casual moviegoers on this one

Whats happened?

Ign gave this an 8.0

This was a lot better than I was expecting. It kicks off with an exceptionally well done CGI of T2 era Sarah and John after the events of T2.

The car chase that comes soon after is tremendous.

Loses its way a bit in the middle for a while and the finale is a bit drawn out.

Has some flashbacks to the new alternative future.

Wasn't all that impressed with the actor who does the new terminator cos he suffers from the same lack of physicality that they all have since and including T2.

I'd give it a solid 7.

Certainly a lot better than the last 3 attempts.

Fixed the title.

In regards to Alien 3 he has said

"I think there's an art to making sequel's, You've got to make it cool and fresh but at the expense of the things that the audience cared about from the previous film (example the characters, how they were killed off for the 3rd film)"

he's let that happened for the new Terminator movie for John Connor

as for the movie reviews, I've seen alot of 9 out 10's and i hear Rotten Tomatoe's is a mixed bag but that site has been a joke these days.

Literally nobody gives a fvck about the anything other than T2 John and Arnie.

Tell us more about them - I don't give a fvck about the lesbian, mexican and the little girl they're chasing/protecting.

What happens with T2 John and Arnie, and how long are those scenes?

Those scenes would be the only reason I would give a shit about this film.

So edgy...
