Black Cat/Silver Sable

With a little help from Silver Sable, Black Cat will steal something new: the big screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony is developing a “Spider-Man” spinoff film starring the two characters. “Thor: Ragnarok” scribe Chris Yost is also attached to pen a script based on an earlier version by Lisa Joy.

Though this as-yet-untitled “Black Cat and Silver Sable” project does not yet have a director, Sony is eyeing a fall start date for production. Matt Tolmach and Amy Pascal are on board to produce. According to the report, this Black Cat and Silver Sable film and Sony’s “Venom” movie are not spinning out of “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” which releases in July; instead, these projects will draw “from the overall franchise and [are] based on Marvel’s Spider-Man universe.”

That's a strange team up. I don't remember the characters ever really having anything to do with eachother.

Whatever though. I love Black Cat, so I'm in.

Got really excited for a second there when I read The Cat. As for Black Cat and Silver Sable... meh. I'll still watch it, though - when I can watch it at home.

So it's this and Venom won't be part of the MCU?

These spin off franchises need Spider-Man (even if it's a small role) IMO. And I don't think they'll want to confuse audiences with 2 different Spider-Men simultaneously.

Not like DC snd their damn dirty Flash...😠
