Thundarr the Barbarian vs Galtar and his golden lance

Everyone always puts Thundarr against He-Man, but we all know he stands no chance there.

So how about the second/third tier hero from a similar setting, Galtar? His lance was a pretty powerful plot device.

Who wins?

Either I'm way more dated around here then I thought, or my standards were a lot lower then other kids back then. 🙂

*Hums "Pixie Dixie diddly dum are the best of frieends.."*

I remember Thundarr, with his Sun Sword. haermm

I don't recall the other, though.

Completely forgot about Galtar until I saw the title

Thundarr is an enjoyable show, actually DL'ing Galtar right now, gonna take a day or so though.

I would go Thundar but not by much.

No chance? Of course, Thundarr had to fight just to lived, He-Man is just a pamper Prince. Of course He-Man would stand little chance of winning.

That depends. Does Galtar also have the Sacred Shield or just the Golden Lance?

Isn't that Goleeta's thing? Can't remember if he ever used it.

But no, just the lance.

You could do Ookla and Ariel vs Goleeta and Zorn, if you want.

Random idea:

Galtar gets the sword AND shield, against Ulysses 31.

A.k.a. "Space jesus" with a lightsaber and energy shield against space Roman/Greek mythology. (You can see the entire show "restored" off YouTube, from someone that took the superior audio of one source, and transplanted to the best video source),

This thread has inspired me to add several of Hanna-Barbera's cartoons to my digital library.

The Herculoids
Thundarr the Barbarian
Samson & Goliath
Speed Buggy
Hong Kong Phooey
Super Friends
Johnny Quest

So many more...

In Galtar/Goleeta/Zorn vs. Thundarr/Ariel/UCLA, the former takes it.

What's the determining factor?

Zorn's mind control? Goleeta's shield?

Also, one more off the top of my head:

Galtar, Goleeta, Zorn, UCLA, Arial, and Thundarr vs the Dungeons and Dragons kids.

If that's too much for them, break it down to only Thundarr and Galtar.

Both.
