Palpatine used midichlorian manipulation to save Anakin?

Does anyone know if this scan is Canon or Legends, BTW?

Yeah, it has been fact in Legends for a while now he saved Anakin through Midi manipulation.

Not sure about canon, though.

Definitely correct in Legends. Even when Sidious kills Plagueis, he plays with the possibly or bringing his master back to life and killing him over and over. Clearly Sidious knew of this, because him and his master together attempted to influence the midichlorians to create a being strong in the force. Therefore he had knowledge in how to influence them, but not as much as Plagueis did though, I believe.

Not to mention it has nothing to do with midi-chlorian mastery.
At best Sidious possessed only knowledge of it. He never showed any proeficiency with it IIRC.

He doesn't just know it (which makes no sense anyway). He can use it as well.

And where does it say he used the 'midi-chlorian manipulation'?
For what we know he could have simply done what Bastilla did to Revan to keep him alive(when Malak fired in his ship)
