Yeah, but the Saber Throws were annoying because they kept hitting you. The Lightning was annoying because the Dooku and Palpatine bots just stood there getting hit and still shot Lightning.
Also, it tended to be the heroes who spammed the Saber Throw, whereas again, Dooku and Palpatine bots would spam Lightning. And the former was infinitely more devastating.
