We would have had to kill hundreds of ISIS personel in order for the strike to be cost-effective.

What source is saying we killed any at all?

I'm also curious about who ordered it, did Trump specifically come up with this? Or did the generals come to him and say "this is what we think we need to do" and he gave the okay?

A quick Google search shows that 20 of these bombs cost 314 million. So about 16 million for this single bomb. Still extremely expensive but not nearly as bad as some would suggest.

16mil is just the cost of the bomb, not factoring in the logistic cost in dropping it.

So the tally is that the MOAB dropped killed a total of 36 ISIS fighters.

The MOAB attack was announced shortly after the US admitted that 18 Syrian allied troops were accidentally killed by 'friendly-fire'.

Whatever it takes. Obama wasted however many millions on gay-ass green energy at Cylindra, Trump can spend some money blowing up the sons of bitches that want to rape our women and children and then behead us.
