Cad Bane vs Jango Fett

Who wins?

Jango.

Jango if Legends, Cad if Canon.

I don't see Cad gunning down a Jedi Council member just feet away with a couple shots.

Kind of irrelevant in this matchup, since neither are Jedi.

Point is Jango is a better shot.

I mean I guess, though frankly that scene always didn't sit right with me considering Trebor blocked 2 simultaneous shots when he wasn't even looking, yet unable to block the 3rd which had a significant delay compared to the 1st 2.

Still I stand by what I said, it's not like either of them can block eachothers shots anyway.

jango has a better shot, but bane makes better use of his other weaponry and his showings(which are disrepectful as hell to force users) are better

Nah Jango is better in everything, equipment wise Jango has pretty much everything Bane has but also a jetpack, a rocket launcher and Mandalorian armour. Physically he held his own against AotC Kenobi in hand to hand, while Bane got dismantled by S2 Ahsoka. And that's just Canon, his Legends showings (slaughtering a bunch of Jedi with his bare hands, pressing Mace with his shooting) blows Cad Bane out of the park. Only reason Bane was the best bounty hunter in the galaxy during the Clone Wars being because Jango Fett was dead.

When did tcw ahsoka ever beat cad bane? I recall bane capturing her and then proceeding to evade and fight for a bit tcw anakin.

I remember it said in a canon source somewhere that Cad Bane was the best bounty hunter in the galaxy after Jango's passing. So there's the answer.

I have jango based on sheer combat ability. Environment may play aa factor though bane wins out in sheer cunning for sure. I feel like bane does make better use of his suplimentary weapons, in part because he gets more screen time, but fett is still decent. And bane really does get beat by ashoka in "cargo of doom" but i get get the sense that it was a bit of a trick or at least a cunning feat. So bane could be fett but i'm still gonna give it to jango based on combat ability he'd lask the jedi hesitation to kill that bane takes advantage of.
