Get him back into 5th Element Mode and it could work. Just keep him out of Valarian Mode.

Valarian wasn't too bad but very far from Lobo's kind of thing.

The opening definitely should have a quick recap of how Lobo killed everyone on his planet before he blew that pop stand... that would be dope.
