Oh, enlighten me Abhiman.

The dialog specifically said that they will sink beneath the surface at infinite gravity.

They didn't hence it was not infinite gravity as per the dialog.

It's hilarious how only one part of the dialog is taken on face value and others are discarded.

Abhi the scans are right there, no it doesn't. It says that their infinite weight will sink them in moments.

You seem to be reading it as if said "yes, and once you've sunken to the core your infinite weight will be complete. Because thats how this works you see."

Not that I'm sure why it seems to itch at you. Its just silver age hyperbole right?

Since it's just the statement of the Alien it could be hyperbole on it's part, as the narrator does not confirm it. I would still say that Thor lifted infinity, actually every morning when he lifts his infinitely heavy ass out of bed.

You'd have to be legitimately retarded to take that hyperbole statement to indicate infinite.

Sif doesn't have infinite/strength durability.

Damborg, don't go the carver way.

do you perhaps have something that can be used to prove that it was a hyperbole statement?

Last time I checked, Superman and cap marvel held a book of infinite pages, but we know for a fact that Captain marvel doesn't have infinite durability/strength. Does that mean that that feat is now just hyperbole?

I just did. Unless you argue that everybody there has infinite durability/strength, which you'll get laughed out of this thread, it was nothing more than hyperbole.

Where did you last time check that alternate reality Captain Marvel doesn't have infinite strength?

Lol Abhi, trying to use logic in a thor feat when you transcend over every Superman cheese convention.
It's a good feat, no shame to give props where its due.

And were they sunk to the below surface? Yes or no?

And its a moment longer and not in moments your body will be below surface.

It contradicts the very thing said in the scene. I'm not dismissing it on some logic.

Exactly. Especially when we have Ultraman reading the last page.

By Ultima Thule which had infinite memory.

Is anybody claiming Thor is stronger than Superman though? That'd be a laugh.

Came in to this thread knowing a shit fest was going to go down.......thread and discussion isn't as bad lol

The feat is clearly hyperbole. The tech was designed to get their ships to travel through space. Also the comic used the real science logic of being heavier will cause you to sink. The writer had some form of common sense.

Anyway WBH and Sentry at his best are the only beings stronger.

Infinity is never ending. It should be impossible to read to the end.

Nothing else to really say about that "feat", really 😕

You can't even make the case that it was near black hole level, let alone infinite.

So basically all infinite weight feats are hyperbole?
Duhhhh.... Comics?

It seems that every few months Thor fans keep popping up with a 'feat', only for it to get debunked, then they go back into the shadow realm.

It's in cycles.

I wouldn't be surprised if somebody brings up the Midgard Serpent for the umpteenth time.

JLA/Avengers must have traumatized them fiercely.
