😂 Yeah, I remember Matter eater lad eating inertron iirc, which was basically DC's adamantium.

But far weaker.

Using him in a BZ was my greatest triumph.

The guy 'ate' the sum-total of the Miracle Machine's energy, ffs. Granted it drove him mad, but still... We are talking about infinite multiversal energy here.

Dafuk? srsly

Inertron, and the machine, which stood up to this:

We didn't see a being withstand that kind of output until Doomsday ;-)

BEATING you with him in a BZ was my greatest triumph.

Im not so sure. Back in that era, some of its most powerful physical powerhouses were unable to break out of inertron. Superboy's history with inertron has been contradictory (he has been able to overpower it at times, but not in others iirc), it also imprisoned Validus, as well as Time trapper.

It's meant to be the high end stuff in DC, adamantium is the same, it's been outright stated that there's several things that could break adamantium.

Well, miracle machine back then was universal power to be fair. But still, point taken.

It's for small, post-war era children. The Legion was full of nonsense like that. Never take it too seriously

Karate Kid broke it, though. Or it doesn't count anymore?

It does. My point is that it's just as indestructible as adamantium is. Which is to say, 99% of the time.
