Mageddon vs. The Galactus Engine

-Mageddon-

VS.

-The Galactus Engine-

*Which machine of destruction wins?

What's Mageddon done? The GE beat back a dozen+ Celestials, T&A, and was about to destroy Galactus till Death stepped in.

GE for me.

given the stature of it's enemies, i'm inclined to take mageddon, but with little actual feats it's a difficult argument to make. seems it could likely calculate a weakness in the engine and defeat it. maybe.

Well, Mageddon destroyed Wonderworld and all of its God-like, hyper-dimensional inhabitants(aside from Glimmer, who only escaped by running perpendicular to time.)

And into DarkSaint's heart.

Doesn't Mageddon dwarf the Galactus Engine?

In size, sure.

I'm undecided on this as Mageddon is weird and most feats were off-panel.

All Mageddon did was drive a world's population insane, by stimulating the reptilian part of their brains.

Basically, but it was also a doomsday device created by the Old Gods to kill Old Gods, and as Galan said it also lead to the destruction of Wonderworld (off-panel) and its vague-as-shit inhabitants.

^ The inhabitants of Wonderworld are vague, yes, but their power is undoubtedly vast given their higher-dimensional nature.

...And they kept a 5-D Imp 'bottled' in their museum to boot. /shrug

Do you have a scan of that?

I was just about to post it. I should note, for what it's worth, they also have an "infant universe" in a petri dish.

👆

And that is the very same baby universe All-Star Superman experimented on:

*FlashFact

Having the 5-D imp trapped inside a 6d bottle in their museum is not really impressive due to the lack of information. It's like saying a regular human is powerful if he was given a tesseract that housed Alter Ego or the miniaturized city of Kandor.

isnt that their tech?

hrm, i mixed up mageddon with solaris for some reason.... 😮

anyway, this is just as difficult since we don't really know just how mageddon went about destroying wonderworld's inhabitants. if it destroyed them by, say, inciting a war between its inhabitants (by driving them crazy maybe) then i'm not sure if that sort of offense would work against the g-engine. i mean i guess technically was sort of a....sentient corpse, right? not sure any form of mental attack would work against it. /shrug

this did inspire another thread though. thanks galan, yur the best. 👆

But that's by causing them to kill each other.

We know that Morrison holds higher dimensional entities in high regard. So taking that into consideration, Mageddon being able to affect them speaks volumes about its power. Also the pax dei were pretty sure that Mageddon's gonna destroy the universe iirc. Still, id take The galactus engine due to better feats.

Galactus Engine.
