Ikaris Vs Wonder Woman

Classic Ikaris.
New 52 WW, no amps.
No prep.
No BFR.

this is sort of her type of fight. ik is pretty tough, but she has answers for most of what he can do. i'd take ww for a solid majority here.

I know who would win this but I enjoy both of these characters so much that I don't want to say it.

I've never heard of WW being TP resistant, so i figured this would make up for her likely superior physical stats.

Physically, he's a great threat, too.

Even modern Namor w/ back-up couldn't beat Ikaris... who was mind-controlled and holding back at the time.

Feats have a hanit of enbing and flowing for some lesser used characters from thread to thread.

This for me is one of those fights of Ikaris's where I am on edge constantly. Ikaris here is probably regarded the most

highly as he has been in a while. On this occasion Ikaris was placed under mind control by the Kree and was sent to kill

the All-New Invaders. Another thing we know from this fight is that for most of it Ikaris trying his best not to kill

them despite being under mind control. We also learn that Captain America had stitched a plan. To hold Ikaris in place

until Bucky and the others arrived. He never informed Namor of this though as to make sure he was at full fighting force.

And we learn from Cap himself, that Ikaris is too powerful for anyone in the group.

The battle only ends after control of Ikaris is severed tahnks to Captain America. Who is to say what could have happened

had that not happened? Ikaris most certainly was beginning to unleash his full power. And who knows where that would have

went.

ww is FAR beyond namor level in every way. i'm not sure how many tp resist feats she has gathered since the reboot though. pre52 she has some really good resistance feats, though at times her resistance was slightly inconsistent. generally anyone that affected her was pretty uber tp-wise so i still don't see tp doing anything here. certainly not turning the tide. i'd need to see him controlling someone in diana's class before that would ever fly.

physically she is stronger and faster and her weapons and bracers are pretty well made to take him out and defend her. ik has had some....less than great showings in the past as well. who is the biggest name he's ever dropped?

one battle against namor and torch isn't close to enough to suggest he beats ww, whose feats are among the best in comics for heralds. /shrug

If this was pre, she was the only character immune to Max Lord. Something about the lasso of truth protecting her.

No idea about Nu52 though..
