Then let's add that the context of the statement was in terms of who was going to fight who.
Then let's add that the problem was that said YVH droids were going to kill Ben in seconds leaving Luke with them and Caedus to deal with.
Again, ten pages earlier Luke was nearly overwhelmed by just two of them.

Why even quote this? Are you aware that Luke grew significantly after his fight with Sidious? Like, 30+ novels worth of growth at least. If you'll do this, why not just use Luke's skill while he was living with his aunt and uncle, and pretend they're relevant?
